Saturday and Sunday

my weekend

clockwise: morning photo in our hotel room, working out in the 1980s hotel gym, lunch at Loving Hut in San Diego, lemongrass "chicken," tofu and veggie spring rolls, "beef" with broccoli, delicious red velvet cupcake courtesy of Alex, Hank organizing his new toys from Comic Con, finishing the first Harry Potter book on a lazy Sunday

  1. Yay! A new Harry Potter fan. I love the books more than I do the movies (don't get me wrong its always fun to have a visual). Your gym pic reminded me of how nice it was to have equipment. Now I am just a rough or orphan of sorts Running the streets. I miss the gym.

  2. Awww Hank arranging his toys, that's super cute. I think his toy collecting is precious.

  3. @Caitlin sometimes you can get the BEST workout outside of the gym, you've inspired me to skip ours today in favor of a hike! :)

@Jaco I love that he collects too. It's cool that he's a professional with such a kid-attitude. Love it <3

I liked your subtle quotation marks around the word "beef." It made me giggle.

  7. Yes, Harry Potter! I don't think you could ever go wrong with some HP. In fact, I'm nearly done re-reading the entire series (a summer goal of mine).
