Friday links to love!

another shot of my newest editions
 {my thigh tattoos - Sweet Darlin'}

Before the weekend officially begins, here are some fun links to check out! Enjoy.

I definitely have to start out with this amazing news! Yay for two of my favorite ladies, Kelly Ann and Mandi. So happy for them...and all of FN!

Here's an awesome giveaway for those who'd like to expand their craftiness and get inspired.

Have a daughter? Why NPR says keeping little girls clean may make them sick.

You guys know how much I love monograms...well here's a fun twist: yarn-wrapped letters! I love it, and this would be perfect in a nursery or kid's room too.

Yay! This great show is coming back next week. Remember this? Adorable.

Lemon Meringue cupcakes. I want!

Custom-made clothing in Dubai? So fascinating. I love Caitlin's blog so much.

You guys. I am head over heels in love with this elopement shoot via one of my fave wedding blogs, The Loveliest Day.

I love these quick, kid-friendly (and husband-friendly!) breakfasts.

And keeping on the kid theme for a minute, I am so obsessed with this wall of books. Henry needs something just like this!

Check out these stunning wedding head pieces. Swoon!

Science Valentines. So awesome! The nerd in me is especially loving the Marie Curie and Stephen Hawking version.

More Valentines. "We go together like Bill Cosby and pudding pops." That one alone makes the entire link worth visiting.

I want, I need this wallpaper in my life, in our home.

Just started this book today and I am LOVING it, and will definitely be posting a book review at its conclusion. Hopefully it continues to stay so engaging; I already can't wait to see the film when I'm done!

Volkswagen and Darth Vader. All sorts of cute.

If only they made this little girl's Valentine's Day dress in my size.

And finally, my husband's band Hour of the Wolf has teamed up with Super 7 to present a super limited run of a toy/record combo that goes on sale tonight at 7pm Arizona time. Hank's ecstatic, and that's pretty awesome to me.

Happy weekend everyone!

  1. I really liked "Never let me go", but somehow wasn't completely satisfied with the end. I'm curious what you'll think about it.

Aaaand I live the Volkswagen spot. I saw it yesterday. It's so cool.

Have a great day and greetings from Germany, Fee

  2. I love the yarn wrapped letters. And I'm definitely going to check out that book. Super cute new buttons by the way. :)

  3. Thanks for sharing those science valentines. I finally found the "perfect" valentine to give my sweet nerdy hubby! Have a great weekend too!

  4. Thanks so much for all the great links! I especially love the little Darth Vader video-that is so cute!!!

  5. I love these posts! Keep it up, pretty lady! :]

  6. Love Janie & Jack :) I have a friend who has worked at the Chandler Mall location since before Emerson was born! They have the cutest stuff. We just picked up the mini wayfarers for Emerson the other evening! I had to resist buying him an adorable straw fedora. & just about every piece of girl clothing they had!

  7. I am also reading never let me go atm. It's so well written, but h as a very dark and depressing aftertaste that will only let me read it in one bit at a time

  8. I love the VW commercial. It really is all sorts of cute!

    Have a great weekend Danielle!

  9. Oh! I loved the bridal headpieces!
    AWESOME inspiration for my weeding...
And we're DEFINETELLY having that amazing wall-bookshelve on the living room. Great way to save space...

    And love the links!

  14. Thanks so much for sharing our announcement, you're so lovely! :) :)

  15. aahh! thank you, my darling. <3 you're the sweetest! i'm so excited :)

  16. I just heard about Life of Liz coming back tonight and I'm so excited! Hooray!

  17. Great finds. I hope you like Never Let Me Go. The book was so much more than the movie, but the movie had beautiful art direction. If you like that book I can definitely recommend reading The Remains of the Day by the same author (don't see the hideously boring movie if you can avoid it!). It's one of the best novels I've ever read. Have a great weekend!

  18. Thanks so much for sharing these links! Love, love the VW commercial! So cute. ♥

  19. Sooooo much great stuff here! I can't wait to have a chance to dig through all the great items on this list!

  20. Danielle,

Thanks for the link to my giveaway! I appreciate it so much and LOVE your tattoos! It it a She and Him song reference?

  21. ooh I love My life as Liz! I've only seen a couple of episodes in a marathon when I was at a friend's house (we don't have paytv) but it was really cute. I might try and get it on DVD or something =)

  22. man. lemon meringue and cupcakes are my favorite things to eat in the whole wide world. now, lemon meringue cupcakes? oh my god. martha stewart is a goddess!

  23. I just finished "Never Let me go" I can't wait to read your review on it. I want to watch the movie and do a comparison. I thought it was interesting, it keeps you on your toes wondering what's going to really happen in the end.

  24. You made the weheartit website! I absolutely freaked when I saw it:
