Thanks to all of the sweet gals below who sent in photographs of their super cute milkmaid braids! Originally I wanted to include links to everyone's blog, but I think I need to use a link up widget next time, because it got a little crazy with all the photos I received as far as going back and linking up each one! I also hope I included everyone's photo- please let me know if I missed yours. I triple checked but there were a lot of emails. Anyway, I LOVED all of these photos and I will definitely be doing more "round up" posts in the future!
I also got a lot of "aww my hair is too short for this look" and similar comments. Don't forget you can always do a half up look with a smaller braid- it looks just as cute.
Thanks again to everyone for the adorable photos!

Um, how cute are your readers!
ReplyDeleteHow stinking cute are those pix!! I fall under the "my hair is too short of this look" category, and too layered :(
ReplyDeleteI was so happy that you cured my boredom of what to do with my long hair. It was so fun! Thanks for featuring me up there.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore ur blog!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait until my hair grows out again; I cut it off about 2-3 weeks after E was born.

ReplyDeletei love this look so much... I did it the day you posted your tutorial and walked around feeling sweet & fly all day. Then the mister came home and said, exact quote, "Did a crazy person braid your hair? You look like a madwoman!" Bubble burst, guess I need more practice...

All so adorable. It makes me a little sad that I cut my hair! It's a bob, so I know it's way too short, haha. Oh well. =]

ReplyDeleteThey're all so sweet! I can't decide which I like better - milkmaid braids or braid crowns! I can't wait until my little girl is born so she can rock this look too :D
ReplyDeleteJealous of all you lovely ladies. I need to see a video of someone with shorter hair doing it... I really think mine is too short to make it happen at this point.
