This week on Hello Giggles: Books for Mamas and Babies!

Today I'm talking about books for Mama and books for baby!  Head on over and check 'em out, and let me know what you think over there!  Spoiler alert: I'm recommending The Hunger Games yet again, I just can't help myself! I hope some of my HG readers may be new to it and I get to be the one to introduce them to such awesome-ness. Here's to hoping! And here's to seeing you over on HelloGiggles!

  3. I had my first ever book club meeting on Monday. We were to bring a list of books to pick from for next month. I printed off your list that you did for Moorea's blog (I think). She's Come Undone was pulled for next month so I'm hosting that one. It's the one that I've actually read and one of my faves. Hoping for something new but that's ok. I still want to read the others on your list. And I STILL haven't read Hunger Games yet. I just can't imagine that I'd like it even tho ALL my friends love them, lol.

  4. I really enjoyed Bossy Pants, despite creeping out fellow subway riders by laughing out loud as I read.

And, Valley of the Dolls is definitely literature. The subject-matter may be "trashy," but it's trashy in a deliberate way, and the writing is damn good.

LOVE Valley of the Dolls. One of my all time favs!

Have you ever read Jhumpa Lahiri's books? The Namesake and Unaccustomed Earth are written so beautifully and both are good summer reads!

  10. Personally I’m impressed by the quality of this post. Generally when I come across these sort of things I like to post them on Digg. I don’t think this would be the best to submit though. I’ll take a look around your site though and submit something else.
