Some of my favorite moments from this part of the trip:
Henry's first flight going so well (I'll post about this next week)
finding the BEST hole in the wall lobster shack for our first dinner in town
Lauren and her love for things souvenir
being back in Salem- it's one of my favorite places on earth
finding a Rita's in Salem
the Witch Dungeon tour and Salem Witch Trials reenactment (I'm such a sucker for this kind of stuff)
seeing my Dad so happy
checking out all of the awesomely old homes
good music on long drives
...and lobster. LOTS of lobster.

I made the mistake of going to Salem for the first time at Halloween. Oh, totally not fun. But I've been DYING to go back some other time. I bet it's awesome without the crazy crowds of craziness.

ReplyDeleteWe adore Rockport, and when we visited last October, we went to that very same little lobster place. Did you sit out back on the rough unfinished wooden crates? Awesome!

I grew up in Rockport, lived in Salem and now live in Boston- it's so funny to see pictures of you guys in these places! Glad you enjoyed your visit- summers up here are gorgeous.
