Couldn't comment on the HG site, but wanted to let you know I am still DYING at the Sylvia Plath idea -- may have to keep that in mind for future Halloweens, hysterical! And of course, as an English teacher, gotta love the "Swamp" idea, such a classic book!!
Sylvia is a great one... And, if you are more of a contemporary lit gal, you could name yourself among the lovely Lisbon sisters of the Virgin Suicides. Mary, specifically. I believe she was the one who went for the oven...
Ha ha, I loved this! I'm the same way about meeting new friends as an adult. It sounds terrible, but it just feels like a waste of time to me if I can already tell we won't have any similar interests.
ha. angela or sylvia would be great! and two that i've definitely never thought of. i'm a book nerd and high school teacher so i was thinking of doing katniss everdeen of the hunger games. seriously nerdy.
AMAZING! I think this makes us blog soul mates..

ReplyDeleteLOVE! What creative ideas. I think I would definitely be Little Nemo. I would wear my jammies (footies, of course) and have a scepter and a key.

ReplyDeleteLove that you're into Sylvia Plath. As I'm reading your blog and tying this comment I'm sitting across from a portrait of her that I have on my wall.
ReplyDeleteI totally was sylvia plath in seventh grade. I even used my moms eyeliner for her scar under her eye! Love this!
