This past weekend: Hank went to the Cardinals game on Friday night while I stayed in with my Mom and did a whole lot of nothing, we ate lunch at one of the best places in the WORLD- more on it when we return in a couple of weeks, I spent most of the weekend in my workout clothing (my favorite), chased around a wild toddler, visited my sister and Abe's new home they're having built, and I fell a little more in love with my crazy family, if that's even possible. I also had a sort of breakthrough with my thinking and how I deal with certain things after becoming beyond annoyed for the last time. Forever vague about this, but I'm so happy.
Right now: meal planning and making a grocery list for tomorrow's trip to our two favorite stores and a stop at the new natural food store in town, thinking about how if I'm this sore now, I can only imagine how I'll feel tomorrow (1 million kettlebell swings tonight), packing up orders from the Shop My Closet I did on Instagram last week, dreaming of fall weather and everything apple cider and changing leaves, excited about some new organization we've got going on, and thinking about how nerdy being excited about organization really is.
How about you?
Right Now: trying to deal with a Bubba who is teething and has got his father's "Man Cold".
ReplyDeleteThinking about: how I can manage to do more (photography, sewing, blogging, stuff in general) whilst dealing with the above.

I am so so so an organization queen. I just packed for school yesterday and stood there with a 3 page typed list, organized by item type. I'm glad you resolved an issue in your life with your coping! Have a great week.

I've been reading your blog for so long and rarely comment but I just wanted to say how refreshing it is to visit your blog and your uplifting, positive vibe. You deal with life in such a graceful way and you have much to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh thank you so much Olivia. So sweet to read your kind words this morning. Lots of love!
DeleteThis past weekend we moved my boyfriend into a his new place to start a new job four hours away! Blah. I'm dreaming about fall now, too. I have tights on! It's happening!
ReplyDeleteI think you've inspired me to put on some tights today too! Watch out summer!
DeleteThis past weekend: Welcomed my parents back home after a two-week trip to Italy. Looked at 700+ pictures of their vacation. Introduced my boyfriend to the joys of Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor in Doctor Who. Worked on rethinking my beginning of year goals, giving myself props for what I've accomplished and setting a plan in motion to achieve the rest.
ReplyDeleteRight now: Finishing up my own Currently post, Monday Night Digs, which I haven't updated in months! If it's less than 24 hours late, I'm just going to roll with it. ♥
(P.S.--I'm totally wishing for fall weather! It seems to be hitting us a little early here in New York. As much as I love the summer, I'm excited to see the leaves change and to start bringing out my awesome boots and scarves again!)
adorable photos!

Totally in organization mode right now. Been making myself illustrated to-do lists. So fun to geek out on stuff like this.
ReplyDeleteGreat post as always! Had a weekend of fun, watched a polo tournament and visited family, and blogged about it too! I can't believe summer is fading already.
ReplyDeleteIs the new store Natural Grocers? If it is, I'm so happy for you! Maybe it's only great for gluten free people, but when I first visited the one here I literally cried in the store because their prices were 50 to EIGHTY percent lower than the ones I had been paying at New Frontiers in Prescott... plus, Wyoming has no sales tax!
ReplyDeleteThat green thing looks amazing and healthy. Looks like a fun weekend!
ReplyDelete"1 million kettlebell swings"-love it! and SOO true!
