This is a sponsored post/giveaway. This month I'm indulging in a few more than usual, but I've selected only the best products and fun things to share with you guys. Hope you guys don't mind too much! I thought this one was especially interesting and kind of fun. Enjoy!

When Celestial Seasonings approached me about a new sleep aid they were coming out with I was excited. Sleepytime Tea is HUGE in our house, and Hank drinks it every single night before bed. Me, not as often, but when I want to fall asleep quickly I will usually have him brew me a cup too. Recently I've written about wanting to adhere to my self-imposed 10pm bedtime and Celestial Seasonings mentioned that when they shared info about their product called Snooz. It's an all-vegan, all-natural sleep aid derived from valerian root and a handful of other natural remedies.

It comes in a small "shot-sized" bottle, and you are supposed to drink it 30 minutes before going to sleep. Sleepytime Snooz is supposed to help you get to sleep faster, but unlike the Sleepytime tea it also claims to help you sleep better, and wake up feeling refreshed.

Honestly this stuff really DOES work. I drank a little bottle of the peach flavor at 9pm, went to bed around 9:30 and feel into a deep sleep pretty quickly. This morning was a cardio day so woke up when my alarm went off at 5:45am for the gym feeling SO good. Like oddly good. I usually have to take a moment to gather myself and sometimes I'll turn off my alarm for another ten minutes but this morning I woke up feeling totally great about waking up and it wasn't difficult at all. I am super aware of myself and how I feel, and I can truly attest to this stuff working. I'm looking forward to Hank trying it tonight, and I'll probably have Veronica and her hubby try it too!

And now for the fun part:

FIVE of you will be in the running to win a 12-pack to try for yourself by simply leaving your name and email in the comments below, and telling me what kind of sleeper you are! Do you sleep through the night? Do you wake up often? Celestial Seasonings and I want to know. Especially me, because I'm kind of nosy and think it's fun to find these things out! haha. As for me, I usually sleep right through the night but sometimes I feel like even when I get 9 hours it's not enough. Also be sure to check out the coupon on their FB page.

For an additional entries (be sure to leave TWO additional comments letting me know you did each of these methods, along with your name and email again):

Like Snooz on Facebook, then leave an additional comment letting me know you did so.

Share this tweet on Twitter:

I entered to win one of 5 12-packs of @CelestialTea's Snooz vegan sleep aid via Celestial Seasonings and @danihampton! http://tinyurl.com/cm6rky5

So that's 3 entries and 5 12-packs up for grabs!

And like I mentioned above, if you'd like to receive a coupon and try it yourself, check out the Celestial Seasonings Snooz App on Facebook. It's a cute little quiz that ends in a coupon. I'm so into seeing how this works with everyone I know so if you try it please let me know what you think! It's not for every night use, but for those nights you need extra good sleep you can bet this is on my list.

Good luck to all who enter- I'll choose a winner this Sunday and post it at the top of this post!

xoxo

  1. I've tried a similar drink before, and it worked well enough but I felt pretty groggy. So this sounds awesome, I love all natural things! I tend to take forever to fall asleep, and often wake during the night.

  3. Oh my goodness--- I am a night owl by nature and constantly have issues sleeping. I just cannot turn off my brain. I usually read or surf the internet until I can't hold my eyes open any longer. I would love to try this, especially the peach flavor! I've tried chamomile tea in the past, but don't really enjoy the taste. Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. I work east coast hours but live in Denver, so I have to wake up at 5:30am every day and get right on my computer... I am so tired after work that I have gotten in the habit of napping instead of working out. Then I can't sleep later on, etc etc. I'd love to get into a better habit of going to bed early and getting good sleep. Would love to try this product!

  6. I am a night owl. I just seem to be most productive at night. My husband on the other hand is not. He would go to bed at 8pm if he could. I often have a hard time falling asleep, but when I do I sleep deep. Sleepy Time tea and other supplements (melatonin, etc) dont usually work. I would be very interested to give this a try. I am normally a pretty okay sleeper but there are nights when I'm waking every hour on the hour and I'm not sure why (and leaves me tired and cranky the next day. Boo.)

  11. Oh cool, definitely want to try this! I drink sleepytime tea a lot as well. I've tried valerian root but it just doesn't work for me. I used to always sleep through the night just fine, but I tend to have a hard time turning my brain off if I'm working a lot which makes it impossible to stay asleep and not toss and turn all night.

  28. I've had Sleepytime Tea before, but this sounds even better with it not just getting you to sleep, but a quality night that translates into the next day! I usually take a while to fall asleep and wake up EVERYTIME I rollover or change positions (which is often). Also, the past year we've added a pup to the family who sleeps between my knees all night (I know, dogs in bed is bad, but he's just too cute - I can't say no!).

  30. Usually, I sleep like a rock haha. But I work in video production and sometimes have very (2:30am) early mornings to get to a shoot! Try as I might, sometimes it is hard to get a good nights rest before days like this simply because your mind is racing and you're nervous to sleep through your alarm clock!

I hate 5 hour energy and other types of energy drinks, so I am a firm believer in going to sleep early (usually in bed by 10:30). This would be an interesting test to see if it helps before a big/early day!

  84. When I attempt to go to bed or sleep - My body always goes into the whole "fight or flight" response mode. How I miss beautiful long nights of sleep - now replaced with stress, anxiety or just thoughts about funny things that happened during my day. Zombie movies are a surefire way to produce insomnia. I partially think that I have trouble letting go of the day and thus creates an issue when it comes time for me to let go and sleep. I'm still holding on and resisting - never to be taken prisoner by my sleep. SleepyTime Extra tea and other Celestial Seasoning products often help me gently start peeling back the layers of my day - culminating in a more relaxed state and making it easier to fade away into dreamland. Thank you for your time and I hope everyone sleeps well!

I want to go to sleep but have trouble drifting off. My mind is always running, like a hamster on crack. I can drink 3 cups of coffee and feel so sleepy, and fall right to sleep but it only last about an hour. So I have a hard time falling to sleep and staying asleep. I finally get so tired I just pass out at around 430 am and sleep as long as I can till I have clients showing up. I own my own grooming shop thank goodness i dont have to drive to work.. I want to try this so bad, my body and health are needing it so bad. Also liked it on fb:)

  117. I have such a hard time sleeping! It takes me forever to fall asleep and then I wake up so many times during the night. I hate it so! I will definitely be checking these out! I love celestial seasonings!

  125. I love celestial! I had no.idea this existed though. How exciting.

My name is Shilah and I've always, for as long as I can remember, woken up a few times every night. I usually have to lay there and think awhile before falling back asleep. I'm so used to it so it doesn't make me feel sleep deprived but on some days when the baby is having a rough night I can get hummed out that my body isn't getting every moment of sleep it possibly can during my awake periods.

  126. Hi, My name is Debi and I'm a single mom that has trouble sleeping because my daughter likes to kick me in the night, lol...but that problem is now solved. She is now sleeping in her new loft bed! My other problem is sleep apnea. I used to fall asleep easily and sleep all the way through the night. Now that I have my breathing machine I sleep better, but I hate the mask. It would be great to try this product to see if it would give me a more relaxed night's sleep. Thanks!

  128. I am one of those people who, if I didn't have to get up early the next day, would stay up late and night and sleep until late morning. Unfortunately, with two kids and my job, I'm up at 6:00am every day. But, trying to go to bed at 10:00am so I can get 8 hrs is hard because I'm not normally tired that early. I'd love to try something natural that could help me fall asleep early.

  129. I usually have no problem falling asleep, but I often wake up in the middle of the night or early morning and then cannot get back to sleep. The whole next day is then ruined because I am so grumpy!

  145. I'm on the worst sleep schedule ever right now. Bed at like 6a, then waking up around 1p. Erich + I sleep through the night if the cats don't decide to wake us up - we could both benefit from this [especially him, cos he's a wimp + won't swallow pills]

  153. I can't remember sleeping well through the night in I don't know how long.I'm usually rolling from side to side, waking at all different hours and then having to get up at 5 am all week and usually by 5-7am on weekends to make sure the rest of my household stays on schedule.A good nights sleep is like a great vacation for me. I would like to try this product.Shayla Shaw,shaylashaw777@yahoo.com
