Thankful for so much today, but most of all thankful that I even have the opportunity to sit back and think about these things. For Henry in the snow this morning, pretty Christmas touches throughout our home, little feet that are all mine, technology that astounds me on a daily basis, and old photos that always make me smile. Thankful for the small things in our world today, and taking a moment to reflect on how lucky we are to even have the luxury to wake up tomorrow and make our day whatever we want.
Love the shot of Henry and his truck. Today I am grateful I can wake up and still cuddle my children. My heart mourns for the women who cannot.

DeleteWell said, I live in CT and at one point lived in the town where the shooting occurred. I can not even describe how horrible this all is.

DeleteWell said. I feel the same way about my daughter. I can't even imagine the heartbreak the people in CT are feeling. I am so very thankful for what I have.

What a beautiful simple post :)
ReplyDeleteThank you <3
DeleteI love the picture of him in his hunter boots, holding his toy truck! Adorable! How fortunate we are to be able to hold our children close, watch them sleep at night and come running to us in the morning ready to embrace us, full of love!

ReplyDeleteI love Henry outfit.
Simple is the best way to go.
All of these pictures are so cute! Especially the last one! I'm definitely on the same page with you on being thankful today. After such a tragedy on Friday, it's important for us to sit back and be happy about what we have.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is still broken from that incident.
ReplyDeleteIf that guy was still alive...my goodness. He would be suffering so much from everybody wanting to beat up on him.
I'm so thankul to spend time with my family - and have a warm bed to crawl into every night. It's crazy to think of what we take for granted for sometimes huh?
By the way, I'm reading Happier at Home by Gretchen, in LOVE!
