"a portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2013"
Henry: waiting patiently for an after-nap cookie. Chocolate chip, of course.
I'm so excited to start this project (with one week eventually having two photos as I make up for this late start), and I have to thank Jodi and my sweet friends Sarah and James for the inspiration. This will be a wonderful challenge. I encourage anyone else who would like to play along to do so, and take a photo a week of anything- your child, yourself, your partner, your home.
xoxo

This is such a cute idea! Chocolate chip are the top choice in my house too. (:
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I'm also doing this. It's going to be fun!
ReplyDeleteCheck out mine here: http://thislittlemum.blogspot.co.uk
I'm doing this also! I have twin girls and my goal is to get a picture with both of them in it each week. Since they are 3, it's going to be hard to get them together and snap a picture! I look forward to following along with you!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing Project 365 for my New Year's goals. I did it last year, too, but I liked the idea of switching things up a bit this time around. I wanted to take a picture of the same thing every day for a month (the view outside my house at a specific time), but maybe this might be more manageable!

Such a cute photo.I am doing this but with a twist, I taking family photos. I get heaps of photos of Jarvis and Tamika, but it is rare for me to get photos of them together, or with me. I am also a bit late, only got my first one up yesterday.

ReplyDeleteso sweet... I want an after-nap cookie everyday! haha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration, Danielle! I love reading your blog (our little ones are practically the same age and I've been reading you since i/we were pregnant...) so today you made me realize how important it is to capture these little special moments. I've just started my own, which will hopefully help my very sadly maintained blog come back to life a teeny bit.

2013 is going to be a great year!
I love these kinds of projects! It's neat to see the variations of their facial expressions and how they change over the course of the year.

ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful idea. I don't have a child, of course, but maybe I'll try like a picture of myself each week? Will that seem conceited? haha
