Secondly, have you heard of Sugarwish? I hadn't but I am SO excited now that I have. It's the neatest gift idea. Here's how it works: you send your gift recipient a Sugarwish e-gift card, they receive the card and go to the site and select their candy, then it arrives at their front door. So quick and easy. We tried out the service last week and fell in love, especially Mr. Sugar Tooth Hank over here. Try Sugarwish out and let me know what you think! And on a side note, how cute is their branding? Adorable packaging.
And lastly, Pinhole Press graciously had us try out a few of their products over the holiday season. We made a few different things, including calendars for grandparents and a sweet little book for Lauren and Abe. I hadn't worked with Pinhole before but I am so blown away with the quality of their products and quick turn around time. I'll be sharing the book we made next week, but get a load of this gorgeous calendar! Great printing on heavy paper. I highly, highly recommend Pinhole Press to all of you. Black and white photo below by Emily Snitzer, by the way.

I love ALL of these. I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried.

And finally, new favorite blog: E Tells Tales.

I just love Elizabeth (E Tells Tales).
ReplyDeleteShe's such a great girl and wonderful writer!
seriously her writing is so wonderful to read--I'm so happy that she's blogging every day this month (even if it means next month there's no Elizabeth)
DeleteSugarwish sounds amazing! I hope we get it in the UK soon. x
ReplyDeleteThat armed teacher training scares me. The last thing I'd want is more guns around my children. But then I am British so we don't quite understand the cultural significance of guns either. In happier news I recommended your blog to my readers the other day as a new favourite! And planning to go through your back catalogue of tattoo tuesday posts for inspiration for my next tattoo.
ReplyDeleteI love your links, Danielle! I still have to go to work in about an hour but afterwards the weekend will be here ;-) I hope yours is going to be good!
ReplyDeleteJenny
I'm off to check out all these links! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteLoved the 28 powerful questions for a happier life. Thanks for sharing. Keep posting!
ReplyDeleteUm...Sugarwish sounds like the best gift idea EVER! That'll be perfect for a few upcoming birthdays and events. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the Gretchen Rubin link! I still have a half-written post for my 2013 goals. Everyone is out of the house today, so I should be able to finish it. Hurrah!
Danielle, as a former teacher, what do you think of arming teachers? I would be interested in hearing your views. And if you already posted about this, sorry but direct me to it!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks but no thanks about the Sugarwish! I'm trying so hard to eat well and that just doesn't help. It is a great idea but come on!
Love Pinhole Press! My go to gifts for the grandparents ;)
ReplyDeletealso, how was i not following your blog before? huh? new follower.
ReplyDeleteI love E Tells Tales-- just started following that blog and now it seems like she's popping up every where on my radar.
ReplyDeleteAs for teachers with guns... Having been on a locked down campus before with a gunman.. I remember the feeling of wishing I or someone had something to protect ourselves. I just can't figure out the dynamics of having guns in classrooms. How would you keep it safe from little hands? But at the same time have it where the teacher could get to it in an emergency? I think its just a sad case of trying to figure out how to guard against flawed human nature...I honestly don't know what the best decision is.
