Weekend Links

You know when you post something, then after some thought see it in a different light? That's how I feel about this photo. Keywords: warm, yellow, pours. HAH! Via this blog (if this is not the original source and you know where it comes from, please let me know so I can give proper credit.)

We've had the busiest past couple of days (can't wait to share some photos!) but before it gets even busier I thought I'd check in and share a few links.

It seems weird to blog today, with all of this going on in Boston. It's been the saddest week of news I think I've ever experienced. Between the Marathon, today's Boston news, Texas...too much.

Love to all of you.

Be The Good. All proceeds from the sale of this print will be donated to the Salvation Army in Boston to assist with the emergency relief fund from the marathon.

My friend Jenny has an AMAZING giveaway going on right now. Seriously amazing. Hair products, hair tools, you name it.

Henry was featured on the Disney blog this week- so fun!

And I did an interview over on the Rockabye Baby Music blog. Have you checked out their CDs? Henry is absolutely obsessed with the Weezer one- it puts him right to sleep on long car trips. We just got a few of their new albums so I'll keep you posted.

Got an amazing box of goodies from these guys today- so in love with their products.

On my wishlist for the new baby: this pillow and these shorts.

How cute is this family silhouette stamp? Love.

20 gentle quotations from Mister Rogers.

The problem with Dove's Real Beauty Sketches Campaign. Thoughts?

Okay, these need to come in adult size. Wouldn't you agree?

Tonight I'm Gonna Dance. How cute is Aleah?!

Love Sara's "I Wore This When." Such a fun, more organic twist on outfit posts.

25 great Mother's Day cards.

If you're on Instagram, you need to get yourself a set of these.

Invest in You. A great read/watch.

It's Adoption Week at Small Fry! So many wonderful, uplifting stories.

Excited about this book.

And finally, Spilled Milk- a great new photography project blog featuring some of my favorite mamas. It's such a neat concept and absolutely worth checking out! You'll love it, promise.

  1. I thought "melted butter" first, not pee. Diff'rnt Strokes.

    1. Haha I like your interpretation much better!

  2. I love the fact that they are two sides on the Dove Beauty Sketch Campaign. Great Links!!

  3. I love, love LOVE the adoptoon stories on Small Fry. I think adoption is the most beautiful act one human can do for another.

  4. it has been the saddest week. all of it and then the gun control thing. blah. sometimes I get SO over what goes on in the world and just need a moment :).

  5. A positive post like this is needed after so much bad news and sadness!

  6. Hi Dani! I just did a post on my favorite new iPhone app -- Happier -- and I wanted to share, because I think you would love it!

Basically, you share three things each day that make you smile, and it houses them for you in collections.

This sounds like a promo/ad post or something, but I have no affiliation with the company. I just love the app, and it seems right up your alley. :)

  7. We love love love the Pearl Jam Rockabye Baby cd! They're great to listen to.

We started the 52 week project just after you originally talked about it! It's so much fun.. And at the end, I'm going to make a photobook out of all 52 photos of Cash.

  8. That necklace on Etsy is cute but there's one almost EXACTLY the same in Forever 21, for only $3!
