Dear You.

Dear Little Girl Jumping on the Trampoline at Brinley's Gymnastics Birthday Party,
I'm sorry my son roared so loudly at you. He's just in a dinosaur phase right now and as he says, "RAWR is how you say hello in dinosaur."

Dear Sourdough Bread and Butter,
I just can't quit you.

Dear Mom,
I always knew you were a great Mom but I never realized just how great, until I became a Mom myself. It's pretty wild to be a parent myself now, and be able to look back at the way you parented me. I can't say thank you enough for all of it.

Dear 16 year-old self,
Did you ever imagine you'd be right here, right now? I bet you didn't. Life has a funny way of working out, and I'm really excited for all of the goodness you'll be experiencing.

Dear X-Factor/The United States of America,
How could you vote off Josh Levi? I'm still distraught over this.

Dear UPS Guy,
I'm sorry you had to see me without a bra on. Again.

Dear Trader Joe's,
Chocolate covered candy-cane Jo-Jos. Thank you.

Dear Current Self,
You're doing a good job and I'm proud of you. Try to go to sleep a little earlier than 11pm this week. There's no sense celebrating a baby who's getting the hang of sleeping through the night when you don't get any sleep yourself (I write this as the clock strikes 11pm, yet again).

and p.s. in the spirit of yesterday's post...if you clicked on the blog title in the hopes this post would be about one of the best albums of all time, then we could definitely be friends! ;)

  3. Dear UPS Guy,

    Yes. This. Sigh.

Along that vein... we've recently become friends with new neighbors, two houses down. The Dad is a fellow work-at-home, and I live in constant fear he is on his way to see if we are free for a play date. The most unfair thing in life is that men look pretty darn similar when just out of bed as they do playdate-ready... and I look like a complete crack head. I may or may not shush my toddler and hide out, pretending we aren't home.

  4. This is such a cute post. I could write the same note to my UPS guy. He must see so many braless women and that sounds so much better than it is in person!!!
Check out my blog this week for my first giveaway ever! http://japolina.blogspot.com/2013/12/contest-giveaway-yipeee.html

  6. Dear present day Danielle,

This is so cute, really! Sometimes sweet and sometimes funny ;-)
No really The dinosaur and UPS guy part just cracked me up!
And also makes me go down a what/if street:
What if the UPS guy had a blog too on which he would today be thankfull for all those bra-less women opening the door (or for the 10% of them that actually do wear one while opening the door ;-))
    Circle closed.

    Xoxo
