Weekend Links

Lauren and Abe engagement photos

First of all, a big happy birthday to my sister Lauren. To know Lauren is to know one of the sweetest, kindest, and most fun people in the world (not to mention beautiful, genuine and the BEST Mama and Aunt...), and I feel very fortunate that she's not just my sister but my best friend too. I really feel like I won the sister lottery and I thank my lucky stars everyday for her! Laur, I hope you have the most wonderful day and enjoy your date night with Abe. Happy birthday, sissy boo!

And secondly, happy weekend! I'm currently in Seattle celebrating a friend's son's first birthday (follow along with me here), so I scheduled this to post today, back on Wednesday. I hope you enjoy the links, and have the most wonderful weekend!

Goatmilk NYC send the boys some of the sofest, nicest items and I wanted to share a bit about them here. Are you familiar with the brand? It's based in New York, and they produce some really fantastic, European-inspired organic cotton kid's pajamas and underwear. I'm in love with it all, but especially the stripes! Check 'em out- they're the makers of the cute onesie Charlie wore in yesterday's post and since receiving our little package I'm hooked!

  2. You always post the best links! I have so many tabs open now. I did check out the "things you can live without" link and I thought it was very relevant and something I needed to read, especially the first point about mementos. I have at least two boxes of that stuff in my closet (and I have cut it down!) and I really don't need it. Hard to get rid of, but better not to have around.

  4. I think the article about the blog being dead is probably right on, but blogs will continue to exist as long as there are people willing to write them. Happy weekend!
