Journal Day Prompt #6

Here's this week's prompt-

Everyone has different things that keep them going. Sometimes it's the people around us, other times it might be what's waiting for us on the other side of hard work. Whatever it may be, there's usually some sort of motivation to get up every day, get things done, or maybe even go the extra mile. With that said, what would you say is your biggest motivation in life? Has it always been this way?

I'll be back Thursday with my response, and that's when I'll ask you guys to share a bit from your writing in the comments, as well as a link to your post.

  1. Great prompt. I can't wait to read your response. Here's a piece from mine:
"The biggest motivation for me now is my daughter. It has not always been that way; before, my motivation varied and at times I really, truly struggled to find it"

  2. Saw this prompt this morning and I've been thinking about it all day. Excited to finally contribute a post! <3

  3. Ooh. I always see your prompts in my reader but have never participated. I think that's about to change this week.

  4. Thanks for this topic-it gave me a chance to reflect. Making my parents proud has always been my biggest motivation. When I was two years old and my sister was two weeks old, our parents left Korea and immigrated to Scotland with a mere 500 pounds which is a little less than $250 today. The rest of the post is on my blog.
