12 Books To Read This Spring

Spring is in the air people! What better time to sit outside on a blanket, sip some lemonade, and dive into a good book? Or, if you're in my world, try to read a couple of pages around 11pm in bed, before you can't even keep your eyes open anymore. Either way, here are some books I plan on picking up this spring. Have you read any of them? I think I'm most excited about #9, 11, and 12!

Happy reading, and let me know if you have any great books to add to this list too.

one // two // three // four

five // six // seven // eight

nine // ten // eleven // twelve

    1. Definitely read first. Martin's writing is amazing and the show -while extraordinarily good- just doesn't capture the writing, as shows/movies often don't.

  2. X vs Y: A Culture War, A Love Story. I wrote about it on my blog a couple weeks ago - I think you'd love it!

  5. I own but am nervous to read A House in the Sky and I loved the INvention of Wings (which I reviewed recently on my blog http://mundanecstasy.com/book-review-the-invention-of-wings-by-sue-monk-kidd/)

Will be grabbing copies of An Unnecessary Woman, The Cold Song and The Good Luck of Right Now. Thanks for the tips about those, cannot wait to get reading

  7. I feel like I haven't read a book in so long, and I used to go through several books in a week! I'm definitely going to get back into reading books now that I can appreciate more than a teen fiction novel. Thanks for these suggestions!

  12. I've read a House in the Sky. Very powerful and brought me to tears on many occasions. I won't spoil it for you but it did leave me feeling two things: 1. I'm a woman and I like it! 2. Well that was dumb!

    Worth the read!

  16. I added all of these to my to-be read list. I've been obsessed with reading lately, which is a good sign, because there was a several month period where I just didn't have any interest.
