Our New Home.

Did you see our fun news over on Instagram? We're moving! Well, we've been moving this whole week but tomorrow we are officially in our new home. I'm sitting here in bed in our "old house," and it's the very last night we'll ever stay here. So many thoughts about that, that deserve their own post so I'll come back to that topic later. But it's the most amazing full circle moment for Hank, because our new home is the home he grew up in! So cool, right? He actually lived downtown when he was a baby, but then this was the home his mother built and he moved into as a boy, which makes it about 100x more special that it is now our home to raise our little ones in. And I feel so full of joy that it remains in our family and we are able to make so many new traditions with our entire family, and keep it all going. Happiness.

So here we are! I'm excited to share more here as we make this house our home. It's on 4 acres in the forest, so the kids have a lot of space to run and play...and to garden and raise chickens! Yes...it's going to be an adventure for sure. Besides my main IG page I'm sharing bits and pieces here as well, so come follow along to see what we're up to.

I'm so happy to share the news here, and thank you for all of the kind words and well wishes over on Instagram!

Talk to you soon!
xoxo

  3. We live in my husbands childhood home too. It was a pretty major more for us since it was probably three times the size of our old house and has 5 acres. It’s cute to see my boys sleeping in their dads old room with shelves their grandfather built. Can watch to watch you guys set it all up and make it yours

  4. Congrats! Tips from you (or Hank!) on selling your family's house + buying a new family home would be awesome. I find the whole thing pretty overwhelming : P
