January 2019 Book Recommendation

pretty image via Natalie Langston, because I read mine on my Kindle! ;)

Hello friends! As promised here is my first book recommendation of the year! It's a good one- a fast read, quite well-written, and very engaging. I really enjoyed it. It's called One Day in December by Josie Silver. I've looked over a bunch of different reviews of this book online and they all give WAY too much away! Part of the excitement about this book was that I knew nothing, and I didn't know what to expect. A lot happens in the beginning, and then you spend the whole book waiting to see it all play out. It is definitely a ride and I found myself almost racing through the pages to get to the next part. It's a longer read, or at least it felt that way to me. And not in a negative way, but in a meaty, I'm getting my money's worth way. Fantastic book. And here's all I'm going to say about it- it's a love story, but not a mushy one. It's about friendship and relationships and choices...and how our decisions play out over the course of our life. I am not going to say more! Just go get it, and read it, and then tell me what you think!

Enjoy! Many more books to come this year.
