The 10 Best Things I Bought In 2018

I wanted to do a fun round up the 10 best things I bought in 2018, simply because I LOVE reading these on other blogs. It was hard to pick just 10, but I somehow did it, so here we go!

Dyson Animal Cordless Stick Vacuum. This might be cheating because we can't remember when we got this but I think it was 2018. And it is TRULY the best purchase ever. Have you ever tried a Dyson? We jumped in with this handheld and then the big one and they are amazing. I'll never go back! It's also funny because who would have ever thought I'd be so obsessed with a VACUUM, but here we are. Just treat yourself for Valentine's Day, you won't regret it and your life WILL be changed!

Samson Juicer. I did so much research before we jumped in with this purchase and I'm so glad we got this one. It works so well, and we've been so pleased with it. Another highly recommended item! All the green juice in 2019!

Madewell jeans. How did I live my life before these jeans? Seriously, best jeans ever. I love the button fly. You can shop ALL of them here, and then use your Amazon Prime for free shipping too! Best shopping hack ever.

Digital clock. I've been trying to keep my phone out of our bedroom when I go to sleep and this clock is awesome. Super well priced, minimal and pretty, and works great. I've been sleeping better and it's such a pleasure to not have my phone right there the second I wake up.

Wool dryer balls. We stopped using dryer sheets in favor of these reusable dryer balls and we are so happy! You can use them as they are or add a couple drops of essential oil to them, and they work so well. I love that it's a good alternative to the sheets- better for the environment, our health, and our wallet! Win x3. The pack I linked is under $10 too- check 'em out!

Bow scrunchies (shown in the photo above). Odd thing to have on a 36-year old woman's list but hear me out. I love wearing my hear up, but I hate damaging it. I love scrunchies, but I think the plain ones look dated and too 80s. Enter the bow scrunchie! Perfect! These add a little cuteness without being too young (although I'm sure some of you may disagree, haha!) and I love them for loungey days or traveling. This brand is my VERY favorite and where most of mine are from. Also check these out- pricier but I have a couple and really, really love them too.

Ring doorbell. We LOVE this thing. I had no idea how much we would love it until Hank installed it, and now we are both so into it. It's the coolest thing- it allows you to see who is at your door at anytime, speak through it, and really monitor your home. I really feel it would be a great addition to any home. I highly recommend it!

Ban.do planner. I always get a new paper planner each year and in 2018 I did the ban.do one. I loved it. It seems like it should be easy to be a good planner, but so many things go into it- size of the page, calendar layout, daily space to list things out, etc! And I loved the one I had last year.

Our dining room table. We went with this zinc-top, long 12-person table from Restoration Hardware and we are SO happy with it. There are smaller sizes too, and if you're looking for a table that will hold up great with kids and messes, this is a wonderful choice. And here are our chairs with these on the end. I'm so happy with how it all came together.

Annnnd last but not least my new Starter Kit to jump into the business side of Young Living. The BEST thing I bought all year, without a doubt. Read more about that here! I want all of you to join me in 2019.

I'll be back soon with my top 10 books of 2019!

xoxo

  1. Oh been wanting to do this blog post too since I read one from Cup of Jo :D

Anyway, the digital clock is a good idea. I always check time from my phone and ended up using it for scrolling social media etc. Not a good habit. So digital clock will be on my purchase list! Thank you for sharing!
